Abortion

Women shouldn't have the right to an abortion because I belive tat when your pregnant, no matter what kind of situation happened to you. You should always keep the baby and when you have the baby, you could give it up for adoption if you don't want to keep the child. Theres always other solutions then killing a baby. Teenagers obtain about 20% of abortions. So if your a teenager and your not wanting a baby, then you shouldn't be having sex in the first place. And if they think their mature enough to have sex, then the wise thing to do would  be getting yourself on birthcontrol and protect yourself even more by using condums.If the women gets raped, then I think they should have the baby and when they give birth they should give it up for adoption. Its not right to punish a child by killing it because it was a mistake. The best you could do is adoption.

Jack Kevorian

What Jack Kevorkian did was great in my belief. If people who were in pain and miserable because of having been paralysed, then let them decide if they want someone to put them out. I don't know how anyone could kill someone like he did, but its astonishing of how happy he seemed to be with what he was doing. Yes he was helping people, but maybe not push people to hard. It seems weird to want to help kill people but i believe what he did with them brought the people to a better place then where they were before. If I could have come up with a way to kill people without feeling some pain like in Kevorians instrument did, I would probably help people like Kevorian did.

Weapons of Mass Destruction

I belive that it is ethical because like the group talked about, having weapons keeps people in line. For instance Japan knows we have weapons of mass destruction and if they tried to bomb us, well then Japan would be obliterated. It is terrible what happened when we showed Japan not to mess with us and we bombed them, leaving them with radiation problems. The part that I think is unethical is the radiation. They don't get hit with the bomb but they are exposed to major radiation depending on where they were at during the bomb. But the cost to make these bombs is quite incredibly high. And where do we keep the bombs if we keep making more?! We keep the bombs so we don't get bombed by other countries, but the cost to making them and storing them could go to schools since school teachers are being cut money and usually have to pay for their own supplies.

Online Pirating

No i wouldn't be an online pirate because I don't need to illegally download anything. It doesn't bring any interest to me because I don't like stealing. If I had the oppurtunity, I would download tons of music and videos

Designer Babies

I think designer babies is ridiculous. I belive that the baby shouldnt be messed with. Even if you could make sure the baby doesnt come out with a disability or a feature you wish you could have changed. Also what happens if the baby you designed didnt come out the way you wanted? it would have been a waste of  money. It should be all natural like how it was in the past when technology as such hadn't existed. Finding out the sex of the baby is fine because your not messing with the baby to make it "perfect".

Social Networking

Social Networking is harmful but also helpful. It can be harmful because of cyber-bullying or of preying of men.The preying of men can happen by a guy making a fake account on Facebook or MySpace which is scary because anyone of the guys that has randomly added me could have started a fake account. Cyberbullying happens alot and has an impact because now a days people are really depressed and feeling hurt from the bullies could trigger an action and the person could wound up killing themselves. It can be helpful by connecting with your friends on Facebook or MySpace.These networks also cause competition by wanting to have the best profile on MySpace or have the most friends on Facebook. Facebook is the worst; you can like peoples comments so now everyone tries to say something that everyone will like to get the most likes.

Technology

Technology harms our communication skills because when ever you get into an arguement with someone over texting, it could seem that the person doesnt care or is being completely rude when their just trying to solve it by being calm. Also calling people shows a lack of confidence. For instance when you tallk to someone over the phone and their really up beat, and then you meet them in person and their shy around and insecure. Calling makes it easier for people to be themselves then have to see the person and have them realize your not as confident in person. Computers/PS3s/Xbox etc. brings harm to everyone because the more time you spend on a piece of technology, it makes people not want to go outdoors and instead sit on their butts and get fat. With newer technology coming out, its going to make people enjoy the entertainment while getting lazier everyday. Computers lead people to putting pictures of themselves on the internet and once its on the internet, it will never go away. It dangers the ones that put themselves in the position where a rapist or molester can get ahold of their pictures or these perverts could pretend to be the victims age and lead them into a trap. But it also improves communication with people that live in different countries with the newer technology called skype. I have a friend in Denmark and we Skype sometimes. We could send emails but id rather hear her voice or see her. Calling cost money since she lives in a different country and Skype doesnt cost a cent.
